Review Of Children’s Health Study Reveals Importance Of Fruits, Vegetables And Dietary Antioxidants

Researchers recently investigated the relationship between children’s lung functioning and the intake of fruits, vegetables, juices, and vitamins A, C, and E. They did so by examining data collected on 2,566 children in what was called the Children’s Health Study, a study conducted during 1997-1998. Based on their evaluation, the researchers concluded that lung function levels were lower in children with inadequate dietary antioxidant vitamin intake.
